Drainage Systems

Move Water Off the Property and Keep It There

The core of what we do. We map how water moves across your lot, then build the right system to collect it and carry it to a safe discharge point. Most homeowners call all of this a French drain, and that is a fine place to start.

Choose a French drain when water pools and sits in the yard after rain, the ground stays soggy for days, or low spots never dry out. We build it custom in your yard with perforated pipe, drainage fabric, and clean stone so it keeps draining for years.

The right call when roof and surface water need to be carried away, or gutters dump straight down at the house. We run solid SDR-35 pipe to a safe discharge point, sized for the water your property actually gets.

View Underground Drainage

For yards that hold water in more than one spot, with soggy patches and standing water across the lawn. We design a system sized for the whole lot so the turf finally dries out and stays usable.

View Yard Drainage

Use a channel drain when water floods a driveway, patio, or pool deck, or sheets across a hard surface toward the house. The drain catches the water at the surface and ties into the underground system.

View Channel & Deco Drains

For low lots where there is no downhill path to send the water, so it has to be lifted out. We build a heavy-duty sump system with extra storage to handle Tampa Bay storms and power outages.

Foundation & Waterproofing

Keep Water Off the Foundation Wall

On flat Tampa Bay lots with a high water table, water holds against the foundation and works its way in. We pull the water away before it loads the wall, then seal the wall as a second line of defense.

The right call when water collects against the foundation, the soil stays wet at the base of the wall, or moisture is making its way inside. We install a perimeter drain that carries the water off, then coat the wall with a thick rubberized membrane that seals the pores and hairline gaps.

Downspouts dumping at the base of the wall are the number one source of foundation water. We pull them off the foundation and route them into the underground system, so the water leaves the area instead of soaking in.

Gutters & Guards

The First Place to Control Roof Water

Gutters are where drainage starts. We install premium seamless gutters sized and pitched for real Florida rain, and we can tie the downspouts straight into your underground system so it all works together.

The right call when gutters overflow, sag, leak at the seams, or dump water where it should not go. We install seamless 6 and 7 inch K-style, box, and half round profiles in thicker-gauge aluminum, hung and pitched to move real Florida rain.

Worth it when you are constantly cleaning the gutters or they clog with leaves and needles. We match the guard to your trees and install it without shortcuts, so the gutters keep flowing instead of overflowing.

Cleaning & Commercial Maintenance

Keep an Existing System Flowing

Already have drainage that is slow or backing up? We clear and flush it. For commercial properties we handle drainage maintenance and cleaning on a schedule, so storm lines, roof drains, and gutters never back up.

The right call when an existing drain runs slow, backs up, or smells, usually from sediment, roots, or debris. We jet the lines, basins, and outlets so the system flows like new again. Best on solid pipe, not failing French drains or corrugated lines.

View Drain Cleaning & Hydro Jetting

For commercial properties that need storm lines, catch basins, and outlets cleared and flushed. We match the equipment to the pipe size and keep the site draining through Florida storm season.

View Commercial Drain Cleaning

Worth scheduling when flat-roof drains or gutters on a commercial building back up or overflow. We clear them so water never backs up on the roof, where it can pool and cause real damage.

View Commercial Roof Drain Cleaning

For commercial sites that need drainage kept clear on a schedule. We set up regular jetting and upkeep so the system stays ready before storm season, not after something backs up.

The Trufam Standard

One build standard runs through every service on this page.

What Goes Into Every Trufam System

We are not the cheapest drainage company in Tampa Bay, and that is the point. Whatever the service, you are paying for commercial-grade materials and a custom system built for your property, so it keeps working through heavy rain and back-to-back storms.

Custom-built French drains

Designed and built on site for your property, never a one-size pre-made kit.

Solid SDR-35 pipe

Thick-walled PVC that holds its shape, never the corrugated pipe from big box stores.

Clean #57 granite

The right drainage stone, not limestone that breaks down over time.

DOT-grade fabric

Double-punch drainage fabric rated for decades in the ground, never weed barrier.

Proper downhill slope

Every line set with a level so water actually moves, with no bellies.

Serviceable access

Basins and cleanouts you can reach, so the system is easy to maintain for years.

Common Questions

Choosing the Right Service

Start with a walkthrough. We come out, walk the property, and find where water comes from, where it needs to go, and what is in the way. Then we recommend only what actually solves the problem. If water pools in the yard, that usually points to a French drain or yard drainage. If it collects at the foundation, a foundation drain. If an existing system is slow, drain cleaning. We sort that out on site.
Yes. We install complete drainage and gutter systems for homes, and we handle drainage maintenance and cleaning for commercial properties, including storm lines, roof drains, and gutters. Commercial work involves higher volumes and larger pipe, and we plan the cleaning schedule around the property.
Most drainage projects range from $5,000 to $30,000 depending on the scope, site conditions, and materials required. We do not quote over the phone. Every estimate follows a site walkthrough where we identify the actual problem and design a system for it. Premium drainage built to last is an investment that protects your home.
Solid SDR-35 PVC for underground drainage, perforated pipe wrapped in double-punch drainage fabric and clean number 57 granite for French drains, and commercial-grade gutters. We never use the flexible corrugated pipe sold at big box stores. The materials are what make a system last.
